London’s Muslim mayor Sadiq Khan, who is with the Labour party,  has launched a joint campaign with the Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron to prevent Britain from voting to leave the EU in the June 23 referendum.

David Cameron said their joint campaign is about ensuring full access to the single European market and keeping what he called Britain’s special status in the bloc. In the past, the premier repeatedly accused khan of sharing platforms with extremists, while questioning his judgment. Their joint pro-EU push has also raised eyebrows after Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn refused joint appearances with Cameron, despite also wanting to stay in the EU.
