Green finished the day with 5 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 8.9 Fanduel points.
The Raptors (12-3) lost both games at home after a 12-1 start - falling 126-110 to the New Orleans Pelicans before losing on a buzzer-beater to the Detroit Pistons and former Toronto coach Dwane Casey Wednesday night.
"Kyrie did a great job in the fourth quarter knocking down shots", said Kawhi Leonard, who scored 31 points and had a season-high 15 rebounds for Toronto.
Irving returned in the fourth, but Boston was unable to catch up.
"I think past year, the young guys that are in the locker room now, some of the guys that are playing, they were a little bit younger", said Irving after he scored 20 points in the loss to Utah. That total also was a career first for the star, as it is the only time in his career he's tallied 40-plus points and 10-plus assists in a single game. Jae Crowder, who had looked like one of Utah's most consistent players through the first 12 games of the season, has found himself back in an all-too-familiar inefficient slump.
The Celtics were coming off a 123-116 overtime win against Toronto.

"I just think that, for the amount of work that, like I said before, that guys put in, I think they have expectations for themselves, and I think that's completely normal". I felt like we addressed it a couple times.
While the Jazz didn't shoot wonderfully, finishing with marks of 45 percent from the field, 29 percent from behind the 3-point line and 63 percent from the free throw line, the Celtics were even worse.
Stevens had seen enough and pulled most of his starters with about eight minutes left to play.
Leonard had a chance to win it at the end of regulation, but his long jumper went off the rim. "It's just man on man and you hope your guy can make the basket and we have a lot of faith in him that he can". The signs of simmering Kyrie Irving showed in the first quarter turned into cooking, and the Cs overall seemed better equipped to break through the Jazz defensive assignments (until they couldn't, which we'll get to shortly). Kyle Lowry, despite missing his friend DeMar DeRozan, is averaging 17 points and 11 assists, while posting a PER of 23.7.
Jazz: Close out a five-game trip at the Indiana Pacers on Monday night. The Raptors already beat Boston 113-101 on October 19.
Raptors: Visit the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night. Opposing point guards have had their way with Rubio and the Jazz all year, and I expect that Irving will similarly play an important role in potentially torching Utah's struggling point guard corp.
The second night of a back-to-back didn't help, but the Celtics certainly can't blame that entirely for Saturday's 98-86 thumping at the hands of the Utah Jazz.
