After the Spice Girls announced the long-awaited and anticipated news they would be re-forming and touring the United Kingdom next year, Victoria AKA Posh Spice wished the four remaining singers, Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner nee Halliwell the best in their endeavours. "It's going to be odd, you know, because none of us can watch the Spice Girls on stage but she will be able to", Chisholm said of Beckham during an interview for Heart Radio.
Of course, one of the first topics of conversation was the fact that Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, would not be joining them for this reunion, but the ladies had nothing but kind things to say about their bandmate.
Cheeky Mel B then interjected: 'But she is joining us at Wembley on June 14th, ' sparking laughter from the rest of the group'. "I think that's a big part of our ethos".
"We'll do six, and if she behaves...!"
The Spice Girls will be getting P-A-I-D for their brief United Kingdom tour - more than $3 million each - and they can roll in even more dough if they kill it in ticket sales. "She supports us and we support her, it's what we are all about". "Obviously, we're going to play all of our hits".More news: Carabao Cup Roundup: Chelsea Ruin Frank Lampard's Homecoming as Arsenal & Spurs Progress
"She's fibbing", Mel C clarified.
They also said they had no plans to perform at Glastonbury festival, but Mel B added that "we should though".
During their radio appearances on Wednesday, the girls confirmed that it had been Mel B who had been the driving force behind the reunion. "We've got some really interesting creative ideas, but we've want our fans from back in the day to come and enjoy".
"We were in America".
Baby Spice copped to that one, explaining, "We were in America, we had gone out for some drinks and we were on our way home in the vehicle and I did feel very ill because I'd eaten something weird and had a few drinks and I was sick out the window and it flew back". "I thought "I'll give her five minutes".
