KXIP vs KKR Live Score

Demaryius Thomas has been rumored to be on the trade block in Denver, and today, Ian Rapoport is reporting that he is being traded to the Houston Texans for a mid-round pick.

The Broncos acquired a fourth-round draft pick from the Texans and the teams will also swap seventh-round picks.

Denver isn't going anywhere after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon, falling to 3-5. Green Bay didn't get much in return for the versatile player and only ended up with a 2020 seventh-round pick. He joined Torry Holt (six), Marvin Harrison (five) and Antonio Brown (five) as the only players in National Football League history with five consecutive seasons totaling at least 90 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards (2012-16).

Thomas has played his entire nine-year career with the Broncos.

Thomas had one year left on his current contract, but his future with the Broncos after this season was decidedly uncertain because he was set to count $17.533 million against the salary cap next season. The team has been a mess this season, which began with two wins and has devolved with five losses.

Miller wasn't the only one in Denver who publicly lamented Thomas' trade to Houston.

Thomas was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2012-14 and 2016.

The Titans have looked quiet as the 2018 trade deadline approaches at 3 p.m CT on Tuesday, but that doesn't mean they didn't attempt any moves.

The Texans found themselves thin at wide receiver when they lost Will Fuller for the season to a torn knee ligament and have had trouble keeping rookie Keke Coutee on the field. "Sutton and Thomas are both 6'3", further proving that Sutton may be Thomas 2.0.
