The couple opted for a quiet arrival at the airport with no official welcome and instead were escorted straight to their residence. The pair will walk around the Opera House forecourt about midday to greet the public.
Harry and Meghan were flown back two days later but the Kensington Palace refused to comment about the incident. Although the royal couple have over 80 engagements arranged throughout their special trip, the main event on their itinerary is this year's Invictus Games which will be held in Sydney.
