In the court documents obtained by Access on Monday, Angelina requested a case management conference to address the lack of child support paid by Pitt.
"Given the informal arrangements around the payment of the children's expenses have not been regularly sustained by [Pitt] for over a year and a half, [Jolie] intends to file an RFO for the establishment of a retroactive child support order", the filing continues.
But a source claims to ET that Jolie's latest move is in retaliation over the actress being ordered by a judge in June to help fix her children's relationship with Pitt. In the June court documents, it showed that Angelina was at risk of losing full custody of her children if, depending on the circumstances, the children remained closed off to their dad.
Jolie claims there was an "informal agreement" for child support, but the Fight Club actor has not honored it.
Pitt's spokesperson has yet to respond to the allegations, which emerge days after Jolie's representative, Mindy Nyby, denied reports suggesting the actress' main attorney, Laura Wasser, had quit over "internal conflicts" regarding the case.More news: Republicans Spent Big to Win a Special Election. Additionally, the documents state that Jolie must provide Pitt with personal cell phone numbers for each child and allow him to text them whenever he wants. According to the Jolie source, it's "ultimately up to the court" to set up "an arrangement that is in the children's best interest".
A source close to Pitt told CNN, "It is sad that someone would deliberately misrepresent the situation, especially after Brad has continued to fulfill his commitments".
The insider told People magazine: "The filing today was only intended for the marriage to be dissolved, and before everything else can be dissolved, things have to be done by both parties, including financial disclosure and child support". "The motion today was created to move all of that forward".
The court prescribed an gradual increase in the amount of time the kids had with Pitt, saying, "It is critical that each of [the six] children have a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother".
