But, says Spanish newspaper Estadio Deportivo, N'Zonzi's dad "holds a unique personal sell-on clause which would entitle him to a cash windfall if Sevilla sell his son", and that's the reason they don't want to lower their asking price.
"I am with the players and those who have arrived this week, I am very happy with and I said at the last press conference that if there is an opportunity to try to sign one player, then we are looking".
And a third claimed: "Doesn't sound like a man whose heart is in the club".
Emery's new-look Arsenal will be put to the test when they play Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the International Champions Cup in Singapore on Thursday and Sunday.
