Today starts dry with some patchy fog in the 60s across the region, and should reach the upper 70s to mid-80s at the end of the day.
A brief break in the rain and warmer weather may return for next Friday, but that is not set in stone. Lows will be in the upper 60s Monday night. Rain totals for many could range from 5 to 10 inches since last weekend.
Tuesday will be almost identical to Monday with scattered to widespread afternoon rain, with a slightly smaller rain chance by Wednesday. We will again see partly sunny skies with showers and storms developing. Lows will be near 70 degrees Wednesday night. Friday: Partly sunny with just a few afternoon storms. While we could see some development in the evening, we will be monitoring an organized cluster of storms north of the state.
The ridge of high pressure shifts west and temperatures will cool into the low-mid 90s.
Over the next few day the jet stream will retreat back and allow for another Low pressure system by the OH border to move into our area and bring some much needed relief in humidity and more rain showers.
