The proposed 2018-19 spending plan is $27,894,313, an increase of $489,197, or 1.79 percent over the current budget.

The new inter-local agreement is a fusion of both proposals that would see the City and L.P.S each contribute a little over a million dollars from their budget per year. The three-year ConnectED grant has a value of $432,000.
"Doing so would allow you as a board and administration to address these pressing concerns and give you time as a board to look at alternative plans to save the $1 million that closing a school would put back into the general fund", he said.
