Mark Williams stripped off for his post-match press conference after beating John Higgins to land his third World Championship title.
It's the third time the Welshman has won the championship.
He said: "As long as Barry Hearn isn't going to fine me or discipline me I'll have to do it", before Williams walked into his press conference undressed apart from a towel.
Scooping the Crucible crown, 15 years after his last triumph, at the age of 43 ensured Williams became the oldest victor of the tournament since fellow countryman Ray Reardon, who was 45 when victorious in 1978.
Reardon, the man nicknamed "Dracula", was 45 when he won in 1978, and while Williams is 43, no one would now bet against either the Welshman or 42-year-old Higgins winning again in years to come to beat the record.
Higgins, who made an amateurish error to gift Williams the closing frame, can take heart from 12 months ago when he led Mark Selby by the same margin before the world number one battled back to win the title 18-15.More news: Women Sue Charlie Rose, CBS News for Sexual Harassment
Williams thanked wife Joanne for convincing him to keep playing when he contemplated quitting a year ago.
"You've got to expect a comeback because when you're 50 or 60 in front he's the best I've ever seen at clearing up and that includes O'Sullivan". I watched it in a caravan.
Last year Williams did not even qualify for the finals and vowed to go naked if won this year's championship.
"What an occasion. To play John in the Crucible in the final is an unbelievable occasion and I'm so glad I won". Higgins had not expected another chance but came back to the table and cleared up with a 65 break, vintage snooker from the four-time champion. I've just done something I never thought I would.
"It's an unbelievable story", he said. Higgins responded by compiling a breathtaking break of 62 to win the frame by two points for 17-16.
But Higgins ensured there wouldn't be a final finishing with a session to spare for the first time since 1993, as a gritty run of 67 handed him frame 22 before knocks of 72 and 80 closed the gap even further, to 14-10. I got a little bit emotional towards the end as well.
