The actress, who portrayed Denise Huxtable on "The Cosby Show", reflected on what it was like being around Bill Cosby on the series in an interview with Net-A-Porter now that the comedian and actor has been accused by more than 50 women of unwanted touching and drug-induced rape.
Bonet, who left "The Cosby Show" and went on to star in the spin-off, "A Different World", was asked if she ever sensed that "anything was happening".
"There was no knowledge on my part about [Bill Cosby's] specific actions, but... there was just energy", she revealed. "And that type of sinister, shadow energy can not be concealed". So, while she was not aware of the alleged incidents as they occurred, she always felt something about him was not right. "If I had anything more to reveal then it would have happened a long time ago". "The truth will set you free", she says.

Over the past few years, Cosby has been accused by nearly 50 women of sexual misconduct and rape. There were reports Cosby was unhappy with Bonet's appearance in the R-rated film "Angel Heart" and a topless pictorial.
When asked if Cosby's recent controversy has tainted her memories of working with him, she replies "No, it's exactly as I remember it". Cosby has yet to respond to Bonet's newest comments.
"I don't need to say, "I told you so", she told interviewer Sanjiv Bhattacharya.
Bonet was sacked from "The Cosby Show" in April 1991 because of "creative differences". But God also wants to play with Mother Earth.' I just thought: "my work is done!"
