"Wonder Woman" director Patty Jenkins has found her villain for the film's sequel.
DC Comics's first foray into the Wonder Woman universe was a box office hit, raking in more than $800 million worldwide and gaining critic and fan approval. "And SO excited by what we have planned", Jenkins tweeted. She's a British archaeologist who was born the heiress to a vast fortune, but she's got questionable morals and is ruthless when it comes to getting what she wants. Certain versions of the character in the comic books boast cat-like abilities such as huge speed and piercing claws. The 80s run in the comics centered on Domaine, but that alias was later retconned as merely a false named used by Barbara Ann to commit crimes as Cheetah, so we're banking on the more modern version of Barbara Ann for this movie.

The character, a feline-esque adversary with super strength and speed, was first introduced in Wonder Woman No. 6 in 1943.
Wonder Woman 2 is slated to begin production in May of 2018 in the United Kingdom. As of this writing, the specific plot details are unclear - though given how far away the film is (around 2 years), it makes sense.
Gal Gadot returns in the titular role with Wonder Woman 2 having a November 1, 2019 release.
