Though the phone will be produced for premium Indian Market, however, it is still unclear whether the Blackberry Ghost will be for other markets too or it will be just available in India.

Based on looks alone, would you pick up the Ghost if it launched in another market outside of India? The premium Android phone from Optiemus is said to be "coming soon to India".

BlackBerry Android smartphones made a small comeback past year with its signature physical QWERTY keyboard thanks to licensee TCL. A year after the KeyOne's launch at MWC 2017, this week I spoke with two senior members of the BlackBerry Mobile / TCL team, Francois Mahieu and Alain Lejeune, who expressed their collective belief that the KeyOne's launch was an unqualified success.

In another tweet, Evan Blass also reported that the smartphone will be built by Optiemus and will be released in India. The upcoming BlackBerry Ghost phone is tipped to come with a bezel-less screen on the front with 18:9 aspect ratio. That might soon change, as a new leak shows off a handset by the firm known only as the Ghost. There is no word or any details leaked about the rear camera, however we can expect the handset to come with dual cameras at the back. What is also striking is the omission of a keyboard, which is generally a characteristic feature in BlackBerry phones.

According to rumors, BlackBerry Ghost will be nearly a once a flagship canadian brand, and he is credited with the Android OS 8.1 Oreo out of the box, up to 6 GB of RAM, a large touch screen with no frame and metal body, both sides framed by reinforced glass panels. To recall, Optiemus Infracom had handled the marketing, sales, distribution and support for the BlackBerry KeyONE, the premium phone that was launched in India only past year.

"We count the Middle East as one of the best regions not in terms of how many units we sell but also how much the BlackBerry brand resonates with customers", said Mr Mahieu.
