It's got a slightly less powerful Snapdragon 636 processor that should still run seriously quick, and it's got exactly the same screen as the pricier model. The device has an improved Adreno 630 GPU for better graphical performance. The Zenfone 5 Lite will come with up to 4 GB of memory and 64 GB of onboard storage, and like its cousins it supports microSD cards and dual-SIM functionality. The rear dual cameras on both are also arranged in the same portrait orientation. There's a primary 12-megapixel lens paired with by an 8-megapixel sensor that has double the field of view. It also comes with the popular face unlock feature along with some beautification features. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC and GPS/A-GPS. For the battery, ZenFone 5Z has a 3,300mAh one on board with the company's proprietary "BoostMaster" fast-charge technology. The conceit of using animated emojis to record short snippets is the same, but the Taiwanese firm has come up with its own list of cartoon characters for the feature. Pricing and availability of the smartphones haven't been revealed as yet. It packs 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is very little doubt that these will be the last notched Android phones so we expect some more serious work will need to be done by Google to allow for this.

In the end, what matters is bezels are becoming less and less noticeable, with the high-end ZenFone 5 duo boasting a (possibly) record-breaking 90 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Asus ZenFone 5 Lite smartphone will be available in two different variants which use different processors. It is also likely to run a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC under the hood. One with 4GB of RAM & 64GB of native storage and the other one with 6GB RAM & 128GB of internal storage. It features a 20 megapixel primary Sony IMX376 front camera coupled with a 120 degree wide angle second camera.
For the photography department, there's a 12MP dual rear camera setup, with the main sensor having an aperture of f/1.8 and the wide-angle sensor having an aperture of f/2.2 - there's OIS available for stable video shots.
This phone uses a quad-cam setup with two front-facing sensors and two rear-facing selfie shooters. The 5 Lite uses the extra space above the screen for a pair of front-facing cameras. That's pretty incredible for what you get. The camera can record in 4K UHD resolution and has three axis electronic image stabilization to make the videos better.
The battery on both the smartphones have a capacity of 3300mAh, this in sync with the battery optimizations being offered help pull the device battery backup to impressive levels.
Asus claims the 5Z's camera can instantly focus on a subject in any lighting situation with its dual-pixel phase-detection autofocus, which the company says can lock onto a subject in 0.03 seconds. This camera comes with facial recognition tech so you won't need to unlock your phone with a PIN or fingerprint scan.
