This free update seems to excite many people out there for sure.
Ubisoft said that the expansion is a "vast story" but didn't provide any indication of its actual length in terms of hours.
Many of you guys know that the first DLC for Assassin's Creed: Origins will be out this month and it is called The Hidden Ones. It sees Bayek leading his group of Assassins into battle against Romans who are occupying a region in Egypt. This DLC will come with a new region and many new features. The expansion is free for season pass holders, but non-subscribers will presumably pay for the expansion. The update will add a new quest, an update to the Heka chest item pool, including Nightmare and First Civilisation pack items, as well as Gladiator and Wacky packs. The Almighty Pack comes on January 16th and includes four weapons and a shield, while the For Honor pack, based on Ubisoft's multiplayer title of the same name, will launch on January 30th and include three weapons and a shield. Trial of the Gods is a combat challenge where you fight powerful Egyptian deities. This month also sees the return of the mighty Anubis and Sobek, so if you missed (or failed) beating them first time around, you can tackle them again with Anubis appearing between January 9-16 and Sobek from January 23-30.More news: Health officials: 13 people have died from the flu this season
