The projector has a portable form factor with the mirrorless I-shaped engine that lets it do the task it is meant to even if you place it on the floor or hang it from the ceiling.
LG said the new HU80KA projector is at par or excels its competitors while still sporting smaller dimensions. The company is launching its first 4K UHD projector HU80K series which company claims to be half the size of other 4K projectors available, Which are expensive, heavy and hard to install.
As The Verge reports, LG is joining the likes of Sony and Dell by introducing a projector capable of outputting 4K as well as supporting HDR using HDR10. The company will showcase its 2018 projector lineup at the CES 2018.More news: Explodes for franchise-record 52 in Monday's OT win
CES 2018 kicks off on the 7 of January 2018 and goes on till the 12 of January 2018. In terms of audio performance, the LG HU80KA projector features two 7W speakers. One of the images here shows that the projector can toss its image even when only a few inches from the wall. The maximum capacity is pegged at 2,500 lumens which according to the company is the brightest projector they have ever created. Alternatively, you can mount it on a wall or attach it to a ceiling. Optical, HDMI, and Bluetooth connectivity allow you to hook up a better audio solution, which I'm sure most owners will want to do to create that movie-theater-at-home experience. LG has included a carrying handle, making it easier to hold and carry the projector around. LG engineers and designers took on the challenge of downsizing the 4K UHD projector without sacrificing image quality and came up with a premium device that is half the size of competing 4K projectors while still being easier on the wallet. It is also preloaded with WebOS 3.5 Smart TV interface, that allows users to access popular online streaming services.
With the CES 2018 event drawing closer, more tech stuff are spilling out of the LG closet.
