There are still no winners for two big lottery jackpots, keeping alive dreams of instant riches with now almost $1 billion up for grabs.
According to the Oklahoma Lottery website, one ticket in Oklahoma hit four white balls and the Powerball, amounting in a $50,000 prize.
But the lack of a big victor means Saturday night's Powerball jackpot will be an estimated $550 million.
The Mega Millions jackpot for the Friday, January 5, drawing is worth a $445 million annuity value or a $277.6 million cash prize.
Mega Millions jackpot closes in on half a billion dollars
Lottery players have another chance to strike it rich on Saturday, with the Powerball jackpot ballooning to an estimated $550 million, the sixth largest in the game's history.
And that's not the only big prize out there. There are eight other ways to win non-jackpot prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million or up to $2 million if the ticket includes Power Play.
Because there was no victor in the Mega Million lottery drawing on Tuesday that pot has grown to $445 million. The drawing is at 11 p.m. EST.
Ticket sales still are soaring for the lotteries, officials said.
POWERBALL jackpots start at $40 million and roll until the jackpot is won.More news: Two Men Arrested In Holiday Murder Of Lesbian Couple And Children
