HMD Global, an affiliate of Nokia, has announced that Android 8.0 Oreo is now available for the Nokia 8.

Window had the rights to the Nokia brand for quite some time, but didn't do much with it. HMD Global recently acquired the company, and has quickly set out on a path to re-establish Nokia as a modern brand that offers something unique to consumers.

He said, "We're proud to deliver our pure and secure take of Android 8.0 Oreo on the Nokia 8". There's no surprise that the company is planning for a successor of its first smartphone on its first smartphone release anniversary. The earlier listing of the Nokia 6 (2018) revealed 18:9 aspect ratio screen on the smartphone, but it seems to be highly unlikely as HMD Global will be releasing a bigger version of the Nokia 7, dubbed as Nokia 7 Plus in coming days which may sport an 18:9 display. But in the list there are some other smartphones as well including Nokia 1, Nokia 4, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 9 and Nokia 6 (2018). Along with them there were names of Nokia phones which have not been heard of so far, such as the Nokia 4 and the Nokia 7 Plus.

It is expected that the company will launch the 4G variant of the phone in the month of January 2018. However, with the info we now have, Nokia has at least 5 phones planned for next year if we add the Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 9, and Nokia 1. So, get ready for some other awesome Nokia smartphones in 2018.
