"Red Dead Redemption" fans may have just found out just how long they need to wait until the highly anticipated sequel arrives. However, an online retailer in Denmark may have just spilled the beans. The retailer initially listed Red Dead Redemption 2 for a June 8, 2018 release, which is slightly beyond what most people think of when hearing spring.
You might recall that RDR2 was initially supposed to be out in the fall of this year. Both GTA V and RDR2 are developer by Rockstar Games.
According to data provided by Coolshop, Red Dead Redemption 2 will go on sale June 8, 2018. So, for now, treat it as a rumor.
That's right, June. Currently, the official word is that the game will be released in Spring 2018, and Spring that ain't.More news: Iran protests traced to past economic mishaps
The listing is now on CoolShop, a Denmark based retailer, to help for the credibility of the retailer, this is the same online store that told about the release date of Grand Theft Auto 5 for the PS4 and Xbox One months before the official announcement of the game from Rockstar.
It seems like every other week there is a new retailer listing for Red Dead Redemption 2 that has a new release date. However, Coolshop has a history of somewhat accurately leaking Rockstar games' release dates before the dates have been released to the public.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a Western drama much like its predecessor so there's going to be no shortage of grit.
We'll keep you posted as the story develops.
